Oberndorf in Tyrol
The old people’s residential and nursing home in Oberndorf in Tyrol opened its doors for the home residents of the area in summer 2015. The aim is to offer a home for older peeple in the area, in which they can feel safe and comfortable.
The human eye changes with increasing age. This makes it all the more important to adapt lighting conditions. Therefore, at the Oberndorf residential and nursing home in Tyrol great attention was paid to bright rooms and this was intensified with light. The emergency and safety lighting from din-Sicherheitstechnik contributes in ensuring that the residents and employees of the building find an ideal environment in terms of safety and aesthetics.
To ensure that the residents of the nursing home recognise escape signs easily and unambiguously, escape sign luminaires of the LED luminaire-series STRING with a viewing distance of 30m are used for the most part. The additional separately switchable safety luminaire in the STRING recessed ceiling and the STRING semi-recessed wall luminaire contribute to the efficient brightening. In addition, safety luminaires from the luminaire series EcoSpot were used in the corridors. The residential and nursing home uses a convenient control and monitor system of all emergency lighting devices via central visualisation software.
