Kitzbühel, Austria
Kitzbühel – for many, THE hotspot of the winter sports scene and a port of call for tourists from all over the world.
The station building was equipped with energy-efficient LED lights and the path to the tracks with 114 TUBE safety lights. All emergency lights are automatically controlled and monitored by the emergency lighting system. Annual maintenance was also carried out by the emergency lighting experts.
Steinach am Brenner, Tyrol, Austria
In Stainach am Brenner, a show world has been set up for residents and interested parties. There, visitors can learn about the construction project and the equipment for the Brenner Base Tunnel (BBT). The BBT is one of the largest tunnelling projects in Europe and will facilitate train traffic between Innsbruck and Bolzano in the future. The handrail with integrated orientation lighting from din-Anlagentechnik can already be seen in a viewing tunnel tube. In addition, the Schauwelt building has been equipped with emergency lighting from din-Sicherheitstechnik.

Vienna, Austria
Every day 145.000 passengers frequent Vienna Central Station. 1.100 trains stop every day. It is therefore the most frequented long-distance railway station in Austria – safety therefore knows no compromises.
The main railway station has several luminaire families in use such as CONCEPT or the TUBE- handrail. The visualization software supports the responsible persons by knowing the status of the emergency lighting systems at all times.

In the area of underground (emergency) stops and passenger tunnels we combine our experience from the area of classic emergency lighting and emergency lighting in tunnels. The escape in those sensitive areas can be massively accelerated by optical guidance (FSU, escape route scenario switching) and is already part of current tunnel safety concepts.
