When the baton is passed on, it takes more than just speed.
A successful handover requires trust, discipline, experience and the right timing. It’s important to know when to hand over responsibility and to whom to entrust it.
Our colleagues at Ampass have recently experienced this kind of handover. After 29 years, our area manager Georg Leitgeb has handed over responsibility to Rudolf Egg. An important step for our team in Tyrol.
Georg was the first sales representative to build up the area and has shaped it over many years. With responsibility, reliability, a great deal of passion and a deep understanding of the market, his customers and his entire team. His dedication has created structures that are robust and upon which we can continue to build.
It is therefore all the more pleasing that Georg will remain with us, bringing his experience to bear, and will support the sales team in future with his extensive knowledge of standards, at events and in the ongoing support of long-standing customers.
At the same time, Rudi is taking up the baton and assuming his new role as Area Manager. With 22 years’ company loyalty, including 20 years of experience in the business, and a great deal of passion and dedication, he is ideally suited to the role. We wish him every success, hope he enjoys his new responsibilities, and trust he will have a good sense of pace, direction and teamwork.
