Increased requirements
A Tyrolean industrial company had special requirements for emergency lighting in a pressurised room. In order to prevent contamination in this sensitive production area, there is a higher air pressure indoors than outdoors. The lighting must therefore meet the specific requirements of this environment by being robust and reliable.
In order to find the right product for this special case and to be able to illuminate it in accordance with the standards, a lot of tinkering and testing was carried out. In the end, the solution was a combination of a TUBE 264 emergency luminaire with a STRING 2 emergency sign. The advantage was that the TUBE can be used specifically for customised solutions thanks to its countless possible applications. Thanks to its high IP66 protection rating, the TUBE 264 can also withstand increased requirements. The emergency luminaire was installed in the suspended ceiling of the room and sealed airtight to prevent any contamination. The STRING 2’s illuminated disc was precisely manufactured using special laser technology and combined with the emergency luminaire.

If there are people in the room, a clearly visible sign in front of the entrance reads "Caution: radiation". This sign warns all persons against actively using the laser indoors.

The colour green is part of our corporate identity and therefore also suitable for creating an effect on passers-by at night. The EYE 90 security lighting was mounted on discreet metal columns and lined with a cover to achieve a harmonious effect of ambient lighting on the outside.
