For historical reasons, the existing luminaire housing could not be removed and adapted for this project. It was also not permitted to drill any additional holes.

Emergency lighting panel for safe evacuation
Public and commercial buildings are legally obliged to display clearly visible escape and emergency route plans on each floor. These plans show a simplified representation of the respective floor and mark the escape and rescue routes for emergencies. Our illuminated panel, which is supplied by an emergency power supply, offers reliable safety, as it is clearly visible and legible even in the dark. Thanks to transparent, removable anti-reflective panels with an invisible magnetic lock, the plan can be flexibly replaced at any time if the escape route changes.

Initially, the plan was only to convert the general lighting to LED, but in the course of this it was realised that some of the general lighting was also used as emergency lighting. We were therefore able to use this opportunity to convert to modern safety luminaires.
