Not emergency light
Clarity is always good, and this also applies to the cable car ticket offices. Bergbahn Leogang requested that all manned cash desks be labelled with an illuminated sign. The solution was an emergency sign disc with cable suspension, which is mounted above the cash desk. This gives customers a clear indication of whether the cash desk is currently occupied. At the same time, it ensures that no information is displayed when the checkout is not in operation.
Architectural
The architect's clear ideas allowed for an elegant solution: the escape sign and safety luminaires were integrated into a single aluminium housing and mounted on the column to match its size.
Revitalisation
The challenge was to integrate separate emergency lighting into the existing general lighting without changing the structure of the building. In addition, the new luminaires had to be adapted so that they did not cast shadows on the light distribution of the existing lighting.
