Ambition & Illusion.
Eggenberg Palace was built from 1625 onwards as a prestigious Baroque palace complex and is one of Austria’s most important cultural buildings. The architecture follows a well-thought-out symbolic overall concept and has been largely preserved in its original form to this day.
The palace is open to the public as a museum and, in addition to the historic state rooms, houses several museum facilities such as the Old Gallery, the Archaeology Museum and the Coin Cabinet. Eggenberg Palace has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010 and uniquely combines architecture, art and history.
In order to deliberately highlight the historic architecture for the Eggenberg Palace exhibition: Staging the World®, an emergency lighting concept was developed in which emergency and safety luminaires are integrated as inconspicuously as possible into the overall appearance. STRING INvisible offers the ideal solution for this. In an emergency, the INvisible emergency sign is reliably illuminated in accordance with ISO 7010, ensuring safety without detracting from the character of the historic rooms.
