Elegant warning system for optimum sauna temperatures
The challenge
In the sauna area of this hotel, it was important to indicate to guests from outside when the temperature in the sauna is at its highest and access should be avoided. This required a sign that clearly communicated this information and at the same time integrated aesthetically into the hotel’s architecture.
It was particularly important that the sign automatically lights up red at the highest temperatures. This signals to guests at a glance that the heat inside is at its most intense.
The Solution
An intelligent sauna control unit measures the temperature and forwards the information to the sign when the sauna must not be entered. In this special case, an emergency sign from our STRING series was adapted. The finest laser engravings serve as light-conducting elements and illuminate the inscription “Aufguss” in red or green. The special feature of this solution is that the sign is controlled by the sauna control system and lights up red when the temperature in the sauna is at its highest. This signals to guests when they are not allowed to enter the sauna. This means that guests are always informed and the sauna facility can be used safely.
