Safety light in patinated housing
For historical reasons, the existing luminaire housing could not be removed and adapted for this project. It was also not permitted to drill any additional holes.
Revitalisation
St Peter’s Abbey Church is one of the most popular places of worship in the city of Salzburg. Many people associate emotional experiences with this place and numerous weddings, baptisms and funerals take place there. Due to the large numbers of people who attend a wide variety of events and celebrations in these premises, emergency lighting had to be installed to ensure the necessary safety.
Some conventional light sources were already connected to the emergency lighting system in the existing general luminaires. However, as these were outdated light sources, they needed to be converted to energy-efficient and modern emergency lighting.
Some of the existing luminaires were dismantled and sent to our special luminaire construction department. This involved intensive tinkering, trialling and testing in order to develop the optimum solution. After thorough testing, the existing luminaires were replaced with our EYE-PRO. Three of the four integrated spotlights were replaced and refitted with the EYE-PRO. Thanks to this modernisation, visitors to St. Peter’s Collegiate Church can continue to enjoy the festivities while ensuring their safety.
