FLAP

The FLAP is a safety luminaire for outdoors, which is particularly impressive due to its simple and reduced design and the housing made of powder-coated aluminium.

With IP65 protection, it defies external conditions and, thanks to its swivelling capability, optimally illuminates the escape route to the safe assembly point.

Illumination

The integrated high-performance LED module ensures efficient and standard-compliant illumination with light control. The dimmability additionally enables individual adjustment.

Variability

The FLAP is available as a 4 or 8 watt version. This enables you to ensure better system utilisation and realise potential savings in the number of luminaires and emergency lighting systems.

Design

Its unusually flat shape enables the FLAP to blend seamlessly into the front of the building. The light deflection and dimming functions also ensure that they showcase your building to perfection.

Insect Protection Ordinance

In particular, insects are attracted by bluish light or by the UV radiation, so emission levels need to be kept as low as possible.

To counteract insect deaths and soiling of the light, luminaires with a colour temperature of ≤ 3.000 Kelvin (warm white) are preferable.

With regard to the illumination of the surrounding area and attractiveness to insects, our standard FLAP is available in a 3.000 K light colour.

Swivelling capability

The FLAP can be swivelled by 180° and can be fixed in 30° increments. The swivelling capability enables you to illuminate paths optimally, even if the luminaire is mounted at a great height on the building façade.
