Alpenhotel Kitzbühel on Lake Schwarzsee

The Alpenhotel Kitzbühel am Schwarzsee combines modern lifestyle, alpine charm and sustainable construction in a unique setting right on the shores of Lake Schwarzsee. The harmonious blend of contemporary architecture, natural materials and the idyllic environment makes the hotel a popular retreat for both those seeking relaxation and active holidaymakers. The sustainable building concept is evident right from the construction phase through the use of local timber and green roofs, which improve thermal insulation and protect the building structure from the elements.

Sustainability is practised in all aspects of the Alpenhotel Kitzbühel. Resource-saving measures and modern technologies help to continuously reduce the hotel’s ecological footprint. One example of this is the innovative emergency lighting: the STRING 2 system provides optimal illumination whilst reducing energy consumption by 45 per cent, thereby making a significant contribution to conserving resources.

Individual control with the STRING 2 Duo

The STRING 2 Duo version, with two addresses and two switching modes, enables flexible and needs-based use. Emergency exit signs and safety luminaires can be operated independently of one another outside of emergency mode. Thanks to the separate control system, the safety luminaire can be switched off if required, whilst the emergency exit sign stays active. This allows the lighting atmosphere to be individually adapted to the specific use whilst also saving energy.
