Courthouse Salzburg

After a construction period of three years, the general renovation and extension of the regional court in the City of Salzburg was completed at the beginning of November 2018. Since they are under preservation order, both the historical building structure and the external appearance of the existing building remained almost unchanged. High safety standards apply in the building, which is now barrier-free and adapted with a lot of glass.That way, safe and certified quality was also the key to emergency lighting. The conversion of the historic building was a balancing act between monument protection and building-code provisions.
The façade and roof renovation as well as the restoration of the windows not only improve the energy balance, but also give the courthouse a fresh, open look.
