The big soccer stadium as the ultimate challenge
In less than 3 years of construction time an architecturally unique sports complex has been constructed. To make Europe’s most modern stadium also the safest, din-Sicherheitstechnik was constituted as a realiable partner in the field of emergency and saftey lighting.
In the period between March 2004 and August 2005 the din-Sicherheitstechnik company successfully provided its know-how for the construction of a big soccer stadium in Munich. It has been designed as a pure soccer stadium for 2 Munich based football clubs. The construction costs of about 340 Mill. Euro illustrate the dimension of this large project and explain the particular challenge presented by this project.
The concern was to present a perfect emergency and safety lighting concept for 70.000 people on 171.000m² floor area and to provide technical components within a very short time. Looking back the din-Sicherheitstechnik company could gain valuable experiences from the process of the project as well as the associated biggest parking garage in Europe.
