After four years of closure, the Vorarlberg Museum reopened its doors in 2013 in new architectural splendor. What is visible for everybody from the outside, continues in the interior. The Vorarlberg Landesmuseum was founded in 1857 and concentrates on topics related to Vorarlberg. In 2011 it was decided to architecturally redesign the Vorarlberg Museum. The Bregenz architecture office “Cukrowicz Nachbaur Architekten“ emerged as the winner of the European-wide architectural competition.

It was particularly important for the architects that the emergency and safety lighting is integrated in the spatial conditions. For this reason din-Sicherheitstechnik developed a special luminaire. This emergency luminaire is borderless, sharp-edged and completely built into the wall. It is an LED-luminaire as a special size and in various special colors, which were developed according to the specifications of the architect and produced by din Sicherheitstechnik.

Competent partners for maintenance

The legally required maintenance of the emergency lighting system is carried out in cooperation with the executive electrician. EGD-Installations GmbH and din-Sicherheitstechnik are two experts, who know the building and its trades best and therefore are good contatcs concerning the safety of all visitors.

The EyE is an almost invisible recessed spotlight that efficiently illuminates escape and rescue routes despite its small size. This means that the emergency lighting disappears almost completely from the ceiling appearance.
