Increased requirements

Do you have a project with difficult environmental conditions or a potentially explosive area and need special luminaires here? Special materials for high IP protection and high IK impact resistance make our emergency lighting extremely robust.

Temperature resistant & IP protected

Emergency lighting must also function under extreme temperatures (-30 to +45 °C). Products with IP65, IP66 and IP68 according to EN 60529 deliver the highest level of tightness to withstand dust and water.

Explosion-proof

Our certified, explosion-proof luminaires also guarantee safe escape in gas Ex areas of zones 1 and 2, as well as in dust Ex areas of zones 21 and 22.

Shock-resistant

Selected materials enable the highest stress classification in accordance with EN 50102 with an impact resistance level of up to IK10.

Chemical-resistant

Special materials and coatings make our solutions resistant to chemicals. The influence of chemical substances on the materials of the luminaires and the installed components depends on many factors and requires detailed clarification in advance.

With a detection range of 32 metres and a variety of versions, the INDUSTRY X32 is the ideal solution for high mounting heights.

INDUSTRY E35

The INDUSTRY E35 consists of a robust V4A stainless steel housing and is available with PMMA pane or ESG pane depending on requirements.

INDUSTRY RL80

The INDUSTRY RL80 made of polycarbonate with an impact resistance of IK10 and IP protection of IP66 and IP68 is one of our most robust luminaires.

En 1838 -P 4.4 Workplaces with special hazards

Point 4.4 of EN 1838 requires 10 % of the required general lighting – but at least 15 lux for workplaces with special hazards. We also have a suitable solution for these areas.

To the EX luminaires

Our luminaire portfolio also covers this demanding environmental condition. The ATEX and IECEx certification confirms that the CONCEPT Ex and the INDUSTRY Ex X32 have been tested and conform to regulations. Both escape sign and emergency luminaires are suitable for Zone 2 gas Ex areas and Zone 22 dust Ex areas. The CONCEPT Ex can also be used in gas Ex areas of zone 1 and dust Ex areas of zone 21 (according to EN 60079-14).
