Campus as a model for sustainable renovation

ESCP Business School Turin

The original 19th-century building on Via Cavour in Turin was renovated in 1982 and transformed into a contemporary building complex. While the historic façades were preserved, the new building is characterised by bronze-coloured, three-dimensional sheet metal cladding that contrasts with the classical style of the existing building.

The interiors are clearly and functionally organised. The new building houses conference rooms and heavily frequented lecture halls, while the historic building houses offices and study rooms. This division allows for better control of visitor flows. In the centre, the covered square with an area of approximately 500 m² creates a connection between the 1,500 students from all over the world and the city.

Perfectly coordinated emergency lighting solution

The interior design combines aesthetic elements with technical solutions. Our STRIPEemergency luminaires are used in this context: narrow emergency luminaires suspended between sound-absorbing panels. In addition, spots with individual colouring and TUBE-264 luminaires were integrated for greater safety in open spaces.
