Efficient illumination in the heart of Munich
The Hotel NH Collection Munich, Bavaria is located right in the heart of the city, only a short distance from the main railway station and Munich’s old town. The building was the first skyscraper to be built in Munich and is still one of the tallest buildings in the city centre.
In the modernly furnished interiors, our numerous STRING power spots not only provide additional orientation, but also a harmonious feel-good ambience. Several CONCEPT 2 and STRING escape signs are also installed in the building to enable safe escape in an emergency.
In addition to the planned emergency lighting, an additional escape route guidance system was required by the authorities, as alternative escape routes are necessary in dangerous situations due to the height of the building. A simple solution for increasing general safety has been realised with our escape route scenario switching system (FSU). With the FSU luminaires installed, various scenarios can be taken into account to ensure efficient escape guidance in an emergency.
FSU makes it possible to mark impassable escape routes by means of barrier cross luminaires if they are barred. This means that in an emergency, the right emergency exits can be reached in a targeted and safe manner.
