A fresh breeze blows through the most energy-efficient city in Austria: in the heart of the medieval old town of Feldkirch, the Montforthaus event center was reopened in 2015 following a conversion and expansion.
The emergency and safety lighting in the culture and event centre was provided by din- Sicherheitstechnik. In total 600 LED-light points were installed. Suspended LED-light panels from din-Sicherheitheitstechnik of the luminaire range STRING with circumferential, transparent bezel integrate themselves harmoniously in the open modern architectural concept.
The Montfort House not only stands for an elaborated architecture, particular attention is payed also to sustainability and energy efficiency.
With the LED-light panels and the LED-safety-lighting the emergency lighting din-Sicherheitstechnik contributes to the energy efficiency of the house.Dimmable LED-lamps in the event halls not only reduce energy costs, but create at the same time a pleasant atmosphere for events. In this way irritating dazzling of emergency and safety lighting in dark event rooms is history. In emergency operation those switch automatically to the standardized illuminance.
