An exceptional workplace on the world’s highest wooden observation tower
Observation Tower Pyramidenkogel, Keutschach
With its 100m, the world’s tallest wooden observation tower offers a unique view of Carinthia’s impressive lakeland. The finest spot is the 70,6m high viewing platform, that offers a 360 degree view of the lakes, hills and mountains.
The construction consisting of 16 elliptically arranged larchwood supports and ten elliptical steel rings with diagonal struts screws itself breathtakingly into the sky.
The tower measures exactly 100m, including the 18m long antenna tip, a requirement, which also the emergency lighting has to withstand.
