Display escape routes only when necessary with FSU

In practice, there are applications in which escape sign luminaires are rarely required and are rather disruptive during normal operation. “Invisible escape signs” can be integrated almost inconspicuously into walls or other support materials. Only in an emergency is the escape sign actively illuminated and safely indicates the escape route.

If escape routes are not always usable

Imagine… A gym is being mostly used by students and gymnastics clubs. In the event of an emergency, two emergency exits are available. The additional escape route is not marked as such. The luminaire is “invisible” during normal operation.

Events are held in the gym and additional escape routes are opened in case of emergency in order to maintain the required escape route width. The additional escape doors are automatically marked with temporary visible luminaires.
