Aesthetics from wood
For the Hotel Fuchsegg, which consists of six buildings, the focus was on integration into the surroundings. It is located where three countries converge around Lake Constance, surrounded by nature. It was designed by the Bregenz architects Ludescher + Lutz, who are specialists for buildings in the open landscape. They have taken the traditional construction method of the region as a model and chosen a wooden façade. For the most part, local natural materials were used, combining a high level of quality with sustainability. Precision down to the smallest detail with creative design characterise the hotel.
Our STRING 2 escape signs and emergency luminaires match the wooden façade perfectly and integrate seamlessly into the design of the building. The ceiling installation of our spotlights and the parallel wall mounting of our emergency luminaires in particular contribute to this. Our TUBE-264, which was realised here as a wall-mounted unit, also fits perfectly into the overall picture.
