The Silvretta Therme in Ischgl is located in the middle of the Austrian Alps and is a true jewel among wellness destinations. The spa is known for its location, surrounded by breathtaking Tyrolean mountains and covered snowfields in winter. But it’s not just the view that’s impressive; the spa’s indoor area also offers a first-class experience and pure relaxation.
Matching the minimalist yet elegant design, the STRING 2 escape sign luminaires in particular integrate inconspicuously into the modern architecture. Together with the multifunctional CONCEPT 2 luminaire series, safe escape is guaranteed in an emergency. The feel-good ambience is rounded off with the numerous STRING 2 eco spots and power spots in the modern pool and sauna area.
As beautiful and breathtaking as the location in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains is, it also brings potential dangers. Accordingly, one must also be aware in the Austrian Alps that avalanches can also occur. Since the spa is partially located in the “yellow” avalanche zone, and no persons may be directed to the outdoor area in the event of an avalanche, dynamic adaptive escape routing was expressly required in the escape route and evacuation concept. With the additional safety measure FSU (escape route scenario switching), the increased protection target can thus be achieved accordingly.
In the event of an acute avalanche danger, the dynamic adaptive escape routing is activated and the doors leading to the outside area are marked as unusable by means of blocking crosses. At the same time, alternative escape routes in the building are activated to enable safe and rapid escape.
A visit to the Silvretta Therme is therefore not only a soothing break from stressful everyday life, but also a safe holiday destination geared to all potential eventualities.
